Original Berlin
The man with the camera was deep in thought. He carried the camera around with him like a burden. When he got home, he slumped down on the bench outside the door. It was the end of the day. The sun slowly disappeared and with it this day on which he had not been able to find any pictures. Not good ones, not even bad ones. Then two boys appeared in front of him, grinning and shouting “Photo! Take a picture!“ Sitting down, legs crossed, he adjusted the lens. “Stand here,” he said, pointing to the space in front of him. But that wasn’t how the boys wanted it. They fooled around and pushed each other. “Take a picture! Take a photo of him!“ “No. Photo. Take a photo of him!“ Then mom shouted and they were gone. No chance. That’s how it is in Berlin.
