BERLIN – Photographs 1979–2025

From 24 September to 27 November 2026, the group exhibition ‘BERLIN – Photographs 1979–2025’ at DAS FOTO IMAGE FACTORY presents a concentrated visual distillation of urban documentary photography. Curated by the Berlin-based photographer Christian Reister, the exhibition brings together four distinct artistic perspectives across 20 running metres. Alongside Reister’s own photographs, the exhibition features works by those who have influenced him and his contemporaries: Miron Zownir, Andreas Rost and Holger Biermann.

Rather than an academic chronicle, a subjective intergenerational dialogue unfolds, spanning from West Berlin in the late 1970s through the post-reunification era to the present day. The result is an unvarnished portrait of a city that is constantly rewriting itself. Open every Thursday and Friday from 10 am to 4 pm.
