Luxus Für Alle
“Luxury For All” – The fall and complete removal of the Berlin Wall created enormous wastelands, especially in Mitte, which I walked through every day as I explored the city. From Potsdamer Platz, you had a clear view of the Hotel Adlon on Pariser Platz and could even walk there straight over the open landscape. In its innermost core, the big city conveyed to the visitor a legendary emptiness which today in Berlin can only be found on Tempelhofer Feld. This series shows that emptiness – and the people in it.
