“In ”Gold“, Holger Biermann brings together scenes from the Berlin fan miles of the 2006 and 2010 soccer World Cups – a clearly defined theme – in the unmistakable style of street photography. These images confirm what once brought the young Henri Cartier-Bresson to photography when he renounced painting and film in order to only take photographs in the future.
